It's the best trackpad on any laptop, hands down. The trackpad is huge, and uses Force Touch on the glass surface. However, for me anyway, the laptop being thin made me feel like it was fragile at first, but this perception soon disappears. There is no flex anywhere around the laptop, and the whole thing feels incredibly robust. The unibody, aluminium design is simply stunning. So, as expected, the built quality is exceptional, probably the best build quality found on any laptop in current production. However, pricing is not all about raw specs, as I hope the rest of this review shows. This is very expensive when you consider the raw specs of the laptop, as a similarly specced Windows laptop could be had for 1/3rd of this price, like seriously.

As a new product, this price would be £1249. My particular MacBook cost me £1049, refurbished directly from Apple. Okay, let's start with one of the most controversial points of the whole Mac ecosystem, the price.

I decided to write this review as I quite often see people debating between the 12" MacBook or the 13" entry-level MacBook Pro - Despite this however, most video and online reviews focus on the version with the TouchBar, as this is the 'hot' new feature.
